Senior Clinical Genomics Scientist, Medical Affairs at Foundation Medicine
Eliane is a Scientist in the Medical Affairs department at Foundation Medicine
where she serves as a subject matter expert for scientific educational outreach
activities including the International Molecular Tumor Board program.
Eliane graduated in Molecular Biology and Genetics from University of Lisbon in
Portugal. She obtained her PhD in Medical Science between Karolinska Institutet
and Lund University, in Sweden, with a focus on the role of tumor
microenvironment heterogeneity and resistance to anti-angiogenesis targeted
therapy. Following her PhD, she worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at
Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center in Boston, studying the response
to anticancer agents and their combinations in KRAS mutant Lung Cancer using
high-throughput approaches.
